3 new indie authors you should check out 📚

There are great, talented and amazing authors that already have deals with well-known publishing houses. I sure love a bunch of them and have lots on my instant-buy list (but that topic’s for another time).
One of the perks of Bookstagram is getting to meet and discover so many more indie authors across the globe. Luckily for me, I already found some (that I can consider friends by now, even though, with some, I never met in person) so I can make this article come to life now. Before I start, I’d like to say a big thank you to these 3 amazing ladies that have no idea of the fact that I’m writing about them right now.
Here are 3 of the names you should add on Goodreads ASAP:
Anna Kobeleva
Anna is a Romanian author who made the brave choice of self-publishing her debut novel in English. Her book “Somewhere only we know” is a story lots of romance lovers and travel enthusiasts will enjoy. A second chance romance, set in Italy, presents the beautiful story of Elio and Nya. Their reunion, based on a shaky promise, opens their path to new adventure, people and experiences neither of them could dream of.
If you love easy, fluffy reads with beautiful settings, maybe this is the book for you!
Anna is now working on the second book and I’m so proud of her for that.
Maeve Hazel
Maeve turned our lives upside down with “Indigo Eyes”. While the book is primarily a romance novel, it also delves into themes of healing and the power of love to mend even the deepest wounds. Maeve crafts her characters with depth and authenticity, making it easy to empathise with their joys and sorrows. The male lead's determination to spend more time with the female protagonist and his unwavering support as he falls in love with her add layers of tenderness to the story. (and yes, there is a little bit of spice as well)
Maeve's second book “Safety Measures” is soon to come out and she is currently working on her third book.
Wafiyah Basha
I fell in love with Wafiyah’s books from the very beginning. “Sweet Melodies” is her debut novel, following 2 bands, their love for music, their healing, their traumatic pasts and a beautiful love story between one of the biggest singers and a soon-to-be-famous one. This book was sweet and pure, but “Head Above Water” raised the bets (billionaires trope, I said enough). Now, her third book is finally out and I can’t wait to read it. “Tarantino killing love” won my heart by the title alone.
I love how Wafiyah always tries something new and plays with genres. Her characters are so wholesome and she always adds that sugar and spice that’s always needed in a book.
You can find all of their books on Amazon an KU <3
There are lots and lots of indie authors I’d love to tell you more about, but for now, I’ll leave you to discover the worlds these talented women created. I hope that you’ll connect with their stories as much as I did. I am so proud of them and of every new author that had the guts to make this jump. You are all an inspiration.
I’d love to get some indie recommendations in the comments. Tell us who you are proud of!
Until next time, enjoy the realms others created! ✨
